Sounds like the Three Body Problem book saga
- JPLeRouzic 2y agoYes but with a reverse perspective, in "Three body problem" the villains are the aliens, and here it's us. Or it's a question of point of view, after all, Trisolaris sees us as "bugs" in the novel. I grant this "zoo hypothesis" is old, with many variations like those of Charles Ford or 1939' "Sinister Barrier" of Eric Frank Russel: This book frightens me every time I re-read it! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinister_Barrier https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinister_Barrier
