It took me less than 24 hours to disable alerts after arriving in Korea. They are just nonstop and barely above the weather in terms of relevance. In Germany we get a yearly test and that’s about it. I have been here 9 years and I think it’s the first year the test worked on my device. In Romania you sometimes got bear alerts per SMS, even with a foreign number. It was less intrusive and kind of cool.
