- elmerfud 2y agoEvery lease that I've ever seen, especially in Florida requires renters to maintain renters insurance. I feel bad for people losing their stuff but this is one of the things that we have insurance for and renters insurance is an exceedingly cheap option. So I can't feel so bad when people aren't properly covering themselves with the available, and required, insurance options. Especially when you're living in a place that gets regularly smacked by hurricanes.
