- ssl-3 2y agoUSB 3 can be pretty noisy at around 2.4GHz, which is perhaps not ideal for a device that is primarily intended to be used to provide wifi for an entire LAN. (Yeah, I know. There's tons of other router-like devices with USB 3. It's probably not ideal in those instances either.)
