Automattic demanded web host pay $32M annually for using WordPress trademark
- rahkiin 2y agoAutomattic is blocking access for WPEngine employees and customers to the foundation-ran site wordpress.org They also changed the information of the use of ‘WP’ a short while ago (was fine and not part of the trademark). It seems to me Automattic is not playing it honestly, and however terrible the WPEngine service might be, I think they’ll win this over how bad Automattic is playing this
