Fair point, technologists will always innovate faster than politicians are able to regulate. Cat's outta the bag now, but that only means the problem will continue to escalate until more drastic measures are deemed necessary. It's that or we will come to accept some level of societal degradation due to the abuse/misuse of AI tools becoming normalized.
