My general rule for medical treatments is that efficacy and side effects scale similarly.
- snet0 2y agoI think this follows from the complexity of pretty much all medical conditions. If you have an effective (i.e. powerful) treatment for a complex condition, it's pretty likely that it's going to be effective (i.e. powerful) at doing things that aren't just treating your condition.
