- philipswood 2y agoSelection criteria are strict because the supply is limited for the demand. Imagine an alternative result: Anita had every chance to live if given a new liver, but she was 2nd on the donor list and they gave it to some ex-alcoholic woman instead who after falling out with her partner relapsed to drinking and died from liver failure a few months later.
