Ask HN: Why don't we generate all the missing pages on Wikipedia?
In the future you will unleach some bot on your backlog to consume but that'll probably take some time to be practical however, as a start why not Wikipedia?
- toomuchtodo 2y agoPlease do not write to Wikipedia with generative AI.
- wseqyrku 2y agoThat's not what I'm suggesting. I mean this as an automated process.
- toomuchtodo 2y agoPerhaps I'm misunderstanding. Are you suggesting using automation to build a list of missing pages for humans to write with said process (automated backlog curation)? Like, walking the knowledge graph and providing analytics on that? Or writing the missing pages with automation? Workload management for humans is always welcome (two cents, thoughts opinions my own, yadda yadda). Shipping slop to a canonical historical and cultural reference? This is not good, I will die on this hill.
- JohnFen 2y agoI don't understand what you're suggesting, then.
- TowerTall 2y agoThen what are you suggesting? You question is not clear to me.
