Yes! I’m a huge history buff (read hundreds of books) and was so excited when someone told me about Hardcore History. I tried a few episodes. I really tried. I couldn’t do it. It reminded me of my uncle would tell a 5 min story in half an hour. The dramatic filler, breathless story telling was too much for me. If anything it would put me to sleep. I’ve found a few history podcasts that I think go into a lot more depth and I learn a lot more from.
