Anything that calls itself a Science, probably isn't
- eesmith 2y agoThis observation is really just giving primacy to older and broader fields over younger and narrower ones. Certainly "materials science", "surface science", "agricultural science", "atmospheric science", and "soil science" are sciences. Or, of course, they can be categorized as all part of physics.
- wrp 2y agoSo, "cognitive science" ==> "cognition" ==> "thinking". I would absolutely love to be able to say I was in the Department of Thinking.
- axiologist 2y agoI miss mention of economics as a non-science.
