It's a libraries vs frameworks thing. Libraries are relatively safer. Frameworks in C# are slightly better (compared to those on JS), because there are blessed Frameworks and most people are using them. In the JS world, you can see very popular frameworks (with millions of downloads) get abandoned. Not saying that all is well in the .Net world; desktop frameworks are an example. But overall it's a bit different because one company more or less controls it.
