Tell HN: GitHub now recommends using its own `gh` tool to clone repositories
And apparently the ssh url, should you want to use git, needs to be constructed manually.

- inquisitor27552 2y agoyou probably got ab tested, are you in any way subacribed to their developer preview?
- 1_1xdev1 2y agoGuessing here: Do you have `gh` installed on the machine where you see this happening? Maybe they know and are just giving a “helpful” default
- kreetx 2y agoI don't and I've never used gh. Haven't thus far found anyone else complaining about this either.
