It might be good idea for the reason that any stalker / harmful actor can already do such "espionage" - and that will more clearly align with what is physically possible to do - hence pushing the users to be more careful about their actions rather than hiding behind the tool that is only able to supposedly hide them. On the other hand there are options that allow users to force the `follow` to see user's posts. Which would re-allow verification from user's perspective.
