We should be probably jailing or shooting all that life extension research. People are worried of AGI skynet, I am way more worried about immortal primitive dictators just won't die, becoming progressively more detached from reality and humanity with egos dwarfing Mt. Everest. Just look at some 3-letter analysis of the degradation ie in putin in past 10 years or few other dictators. Death is terrible tragedy for a human but saving mankind over and over again. I know a bit naive from various angles, and a bit over the top, but I stand by the core concern.
