Some time ago I had a conversation with someone who didn't know me. After a response of mine he asked if I'm being sarcastic, because he couldn't tell. Me neither. Death by a million papercuts: after one too many of these "improved" processes, one too many of explaining the problem, asking for improvement you will either break or get used to it, get kind of catatonic when it comes to such crap and just focus on things that you can actually improve. I'd like to believe that I'm in the latter group, though it's hard to tell.
