- causal 2y agoConsidering all the high level departures, this makes the most sense to me. Their valuation largely rests on this mystique they've built that says they alone are destined to unlock AGI. But there's just no reason to believe they have a secret sauce nobody else can reproduce. Seems more likely that OpenAI's biggest secret is that they have no secrets, and they are desperately trying to come up with a second act as tech companies with more robust product portfolios begin to catch up.
