Totally faked, imo. It's only someone claiming it on the forum and if you look at the pictures, the case looks like it's been hit up with some passes of a lighter rather than the battery rupturing... I feel like we would have heard about it happening more than once by this time. Also I'm not sure that the small 60mah cell in it has enough energy to do that much melting either.
