The problem is that the libertarian ,free society is loudly advocating against itself. Every scammer, every unhoused mad vagabund on the street, every druggie parking the fallout in other lifes,every hacker subverting order for personal gain from the suckers, every rights but ni duties hands out leaflets against life and let life. Still no excuse to vote Nazi though. The sad truth is we bribed humanity with surplus and destroyed habitat. And now we start shrinking to adapt to a persistent shape, we found out what humanity is made of in times of crisis. And its mostly ugly tribalism and shizoid paranoid stories. No poor hippy utopias, sorry. Has been like that always and forever if you are willing to abandon the idea of progress. Its now the social prothesisbuilders vs our worser nature. The panopticon of cellphones/ social networks vs powerabuse and mobrule as prevalent wherever things run out.
