Increasing amounts of hormones could lead to less body own production, because there is enough present. Receptor sensitivity could be altered after intake stop. A study would be interesting which would apply Proglucagon the precursor to Glucagon and similar hormones to see if it would increase the amount of Glucagon naturally. But as far as I understand there wouldn’t be a patent potential for this approach.
