- spiritplumber 2y agoAside the fact that the death penalty shouldn't exist in the first place, the victim's family should be able to veto it (automatic commutation to a life sentence).
- fakedang 2y agoIncidentally, that's a feature of Islamic law, and where the concept of blood money comes into picture. Which also means that you might be able to get away with murder, if you're rich enough.
