I have a funny story with napster chat feature. I was downloading some music from a specific user, they seemed to be the only person who had it, so it was a very slow download. Below is the conversation Me: I'm glad you have that version of the X (I can't remember what it was), I couldn't find it anywhere else. Them: You know that by downloading you are stealing music right ? Me: Well, I have the original album, but I can't find that version of it, not even to purchase. Them: It doesn't matter. <minutes later, i see someone downloading the same song from my machine, i notice its 'Them'> Me: hey, you're downloading the song from me, why ? Them: I'm stealing it back from you.
