I've never once needed to block anyone on X, even when I had a bunch of mentally ill groypers reply to everything I posted. That being said, the shadow pool is a lot more effective at soft banning people than the block feature. I chuckle when people complain about toxicity on Twitter. You're in the shadow pool buddy.
