Larry Tesler, inventor of many things including cut/copy/paste, passed away four years ago. Many people are unaware of this, and that's fine. But it seems there are people who believe it is a great joke to copy and paste his obituary every couple of months. Then people who did not know of Larry's passing re-post the news. I quit social media long ago because I found such behaviour irritating, but recently friends started emailing me links (like the one above) linking to a screen-shot of a post announcing his passing. I appreciate you trying to alert the world of news of people's passing, but please do a quick scan of credible news sources or even the Wikipedia before reposting such alerts. I knew Larry only peripherally and it's a little shocking to see news that he keeps dying. I can only imagine how this makes his family feel.
