- red-iron-pine 2y agomy contract is about delivering value, not hours. is why i'm salary, not hourly. cue the old saw about how an engineer gets hired back to fix a problem at his old company -- he bills them $2500, $50 for the hour, and $2450 for knowing how to fix the problem.
