Ask HN: Would professors be happier if AI handled their teaching duties?
In particular, an AI would do the lectures, assignments, exams, and grading.
However, professors would act as the AI's manager and would give it instructions on how to teach.
Wouldn't this allow professors to focus more on research?

- JohnFen 2y agoI don't know, but surely at least some professors are interested in providing a quality education to their students. I think that AI doing those things instead of professors would work toward the opposite of that.
