I don't think this is a good look for journalism and that people who allegedly champion social justice would develop an antipathy towards Israel is sadly not surprising. This is activism and not journalism. It is fine to reflect on your shortcomings when it comes to objectivity. It is the same for justice too. And still we strive towards it, because it makes sense. And no, it doesn't have anything to do with race, class or gender. If anything is subjective, I think we should start here. It is fine and it should be encouraged to advocate for something, but maybe journalism isn't the correct profession in that case.
