The Idea was to embed heated filament in the adhesive and use that to release the battery, that's not used in every other phone on the market. Currently, you heat the whole phone/battery.
- creaturemachine 2y agoYou're still having to heat the whole phone to release the front or rear panel adhesives. Battery adhesives are typically released with a pull-tab, not heat.
- TheCleric 2y agoCorrect, especially because heat + lithium battery = bad idea.
