You've always been able to do split screen (i.e. 50/50, 25/75 etc but not floating windows) even on phones, FWIW.

- wongarsu 2y agoLenovo tablets have split screen, floating windows over fullscreen applications, and the option to put all applications into windows kind of like in the post. Though admittedly split screen is the most useful of those
- KeplerBoy 2y agoAlways is a bit of a stretch. The split screen feature came with Android 7 in 2016.
