It is better to use several open-source projects that "do one thing well" instead of a single product that attempts to do everything well.
If we can advance portable specs so different open source projects can interop... that would be better time spent.
- tomrod 2y agoSort of. At some point, you need a platform that orchestrates all those "do one thing well" outputs. I'm using NextCloud for that -- too early to totally be satisfied, but nothing crazy going on yet! Waiting to see a few upgrades and backups to see how things go.
