- XCSme 2y agoIn what sense? Because most issues arrise in this thread are about future updates, not the ownership of the current product. With FOSS you get no guarantee for future updates.Many products that started FOSS, did it just to use it as a lead magnet, and once they had enough leads, they switched to SaaS as their main model, stopping support and updates for the FOSS version.
