Perhaps the whole point of their strategy? I can't see the US government and military as stupid, they seem to be making sure that the terrorist threat perpetuates.
- bediger4000 14y agoLarge organizations don't have to be "stupid" to do counterproductive things, they just have to be segmented. "The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" is one way of saying this. Maybe the US DoD/Military Industrial Complex learned from the 1989 fall of the Berlin Wall and the "peace dividend" - never really defeat your enemy/boogey man or the funding dries up.
