Damn, I can’t access any of the articles about this. Anyone know more than Wikipedia mentions about what exactly a “co-living community” is, if it doesn’t involve socialism? Is it just goofy marketing for luxury apartments, or do they at least share meals or something? Something tells me it’s code for “you’ll have a ton of roommates and pay a ton of money for a bunk bed”, but fingers crossed it’s better than that. Side note, I wonder what kind of woman lives in Saudi Arabia and is interested in “co living” silicon-valley style. I know they have slightly more rights now, but aren’t those rights 100% dependent on having a male guardian (husband/father/brother) to live with and direct you? Maybe this is for rich immigrants?
