Have you renounced your British citizenship? Couldn't you keep both?
- ChocolateGod 2y agoYou can have British citizenship whilst holding another citizenship, unless that second citizenship prevents you from holding another one. The treaties the UK has with Ireland even gift anyone born in Northern Ireland with dual citizenship off the bat.
