On top of that, I tried to remove my new Facebook email address from my profile. I got the following error message:
There was an error removing the email: xxxxxxx@facebook.com
Did I type the wrong password? Maybe that was supposed to be a capital letter. Oh, there's a different 'wrong password' email...
- josteink 14y agoYou cannot remove it. You just need to set it visible only to you, set it not visible on your timeline. And then setup another public email which you will have to show to everyone instead. I'm pretty sure you didn't have to do that before.
- mike-cardwell 14y agoI don't think the above is true. I currently have two email addresses in my profile. My personal one, and the Facebook one. Both are set to "Me Only", and also "Hidden from profile"
