With the widespread of AI job applications, matching will not be effective at all.
I appreciate what you have done. I spent three years in this industry, and the current tools and mindset of finding keywords in CVs are quite outdated.
There is nothing wrong with your solution; it is just that this industry is based on concepts before the Internet, which has to change now.
- neel_rawlani 2y agoHey! Thanks for the feedback. I think that just comparing resumes to job descriptions is not the ideal way to screen candidates. For the same reasons you mentioned and several others, looking at resumes is not enough today. That's why a lot of the companies I spoke to before developing this tool usually use a google form or equivalent to ask candidates questions to get more information in the screening process. Given this insight, I thought it would make sense to build a tool that can also analyse these questions, using user-defined criteria for each question, to emulate a human evaluation. I believe this gives you way more accuracy and better matching than just using a resume. With that said, I launched this tool 5 days ago, and I'm looking forward to iterating based on user feedback. :)
