What's the point of meetings once everyone has a neutralink implant? Instead of discussing and debating things, we would just stream our thoughts to each other and those would be compiled and analyzed within milliseconds with our embedded LLMs and everyone would agree with the best way forward.
- corobo 2y agoThis is a direct path towards the "Humans were the AGI all along" ending. Kinda a twist on the normal AI alignment concern - what if instead of merely being misaligned with us, AI decides to realign us to it? Or, in other words.. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.
