i am wondering what is state doing with parallel non state actor hezbollah? how is the lebanan state allowing non state actor to wage wars with foreign nations on its behalf?
- dtquad 2y agoIt's an intentional construct that benefits Hezbollah and Iran. Their Iranian funding has made them bigger and stronger than most nation-state armies but they can continue pretending to be a civilian Lebanese NGO with a strong political lobby in Brussels and Paris.
- lukan 2y agoSimple, it has no power to stop them. So allowing is not the right word here, accepting what they cannot change is more fitting.
