It looks like you’re complaining Apple happens to have placed first orders for the new fab.
Maybe next week a run of Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite will begin production, for example. Is that second set of orders what you’re awaiting?
- shiroiushi 2y agoYes, basically. I don't like seeing what appears to be a whole ecosystem in the US centered on Apple. I really don't want to see a future where so much production is Apple-centered in America, that it's "un-American" to use non-Apple devices (because the Apple devices are mostly American-made, whereas the competitors are foreign-made). So seeing the US fabbing cutting-edge CPUs for a whole range of mobile devices from different vendors would be great.
