I see a clear difference. One side still holds hostages, the other does not. One side perpetrated murder, rape and kidnapping, the other did not. Etc.

Are you seriously suggesting, in any way, that blowing up an entire apartment building and all of the innocent civilians inside is not murder? Israel holds many innocent Palestinian civilians in its prison as its own hostages. These people are held without trial and subjected to rape and other abuses. The difference? Its a state doing it, so to alot of people this somehow makes it ok. Again, not taking sides here, but both sides are as bad as each other.
