Show HN: I bought a new domain just to make my waitlist URL look good
i just bought a domain to turn my waitlist urls from this:
https://www.waitforit.me/signup/9675645d https://www.waitforit.me/signup/9675645d
to this: http://tailuikit.waitIist.com http://tailuikit.waitIist.com
so i thought i would allow anyone to create custom subdomains for their projects for a one-time fee of just 1€ (just to at least cover the cost of buying the domain lmao)
if you want a .waitIist.com domain to make your waitlist urls look cooler you can get yours at https://waitIist.com https://waitIist.com
the 'I' in the domain is actually a capitalized 'i'
- mtmail 2y agoThe extra confirmation question the Stripe Checkout page is nice, I didn't know that was possible.
- sousadev 2y agoI didn’t knew too! I don’t know if that is exclusive to Stripe Payment Links or not. Usually I use stripe checkout instead of Payment Links and never saw that option before
- chocoboaus2 2y agoHonestly, i have to applaud the hustle in this, brilliant.
- sousadev 2y agoThank you a lot! :D
- theviolacode 2y agoNice trick, man!
- sousadev 2y agoThanks! I saw a few people doing the same trick on X and saw that the domain was available… Had to get it asap !
