Agreed. But just to be clear, ROS ecosystem sucks. I'm personally tired of the lack of consistent versioning, bad package system, every new version a breaking change is introduced somewhere...etc. I known, that does not exclude the fact that people should try to work together, but maybe not using the same ROS philosophy.
