It's hard to differentiate because so many of the positive effects of GLP-1 drugs correlate so well with just... weight loss. So in that sense, we will have to see - but if obesity and/or T2D is a trigger for lots of other diseases (and we know it is), then it would appear that fighting it effectively would help fix metabolic syndrome and many of the other diseases that are often comorbid with it.
