VSCode is adding sound as an accessibility feature. I am personally not in need of this feature (yet), so I notice when they surprise me with a new sound for a new event turned on by default. I think I could find value in adding sound to my dev environment, iff there were a quick and easy way to sample and select from collections of sounds made for this purpose. As it stands, if I don’t like the sound chosen by the audio accessibility group, I just turn it off because there’s no UI to change it.
