Where I live indeed naaldhakken are called pumps as well. I hence, maybe uncorrectly, assumed it is an English word... Flemish/Dutch is so full of English words. We use words like sneakers, shorts, wonderbra, jeans, hoodie,... often there is no Dutch alternative even.
