- edward28 2y agoOr just replace useless stop signs with give ways.
- ghaff 2y agoAnd now you're normalizing not really mostly stopping and taking a good look before proceeding--which is probably OK when merging but probably not at a lot of cross-traffic stops.
- potato3732842 2y agoPutting stops in places they needn't be trains people to ignore them too.
- hilux 2y agoI mostly see STOP signs at intersections. Those serve a purpose. Where are you finding these unnecessary STOP signs?
- ghaff 2y agoWell, and a lot of the time you have to creep out to peek around various obstructions so, in practice, there really isn't a hard stop line because you need to go a bit further to see around that tree that hasn't been trimmed.
- thirdtruck 2y agoOh stars no. Xe heart skips a beat every time a driver goes right back the stop sign and the white line, especially when they practically put their nose in the traffic lane. We put far, far too many entrances and exits directly into traffic here in the US. The behavior to normalize should be directing folks onto back roads with much saner speed limits.
- hilux 2y agoYou believe that not stopping at STOP signs is safe?
- baggy_trough 2y agoYes, that is obviously the case, which is why almost everyone does it.
