Apple aims for on-device user intent understanding with UI-JEPA models
- ggm 2y agoIf this leads to simplification of the UI to the patterns which go smoothly in flow, I'm all in. If this leads to some kind of smart UI where the menu order and position mutates to what they think you want but with no constancy, I'm outta here. If the item is number 3 in the menu, it needs to be number 3 in the menu each time. If you decide it should be number 1, I need to know. If its number 3 in this menu and number 7 in that menu, I need to know. Smart means simpler, not "adaptive to the context" for me. Is this actually much more than breadcrumb following and mouse heat traces? Maybe I just want re-assurance there's a giant off switch
