I don't notice it much. Maybe because my lifestyle is too sedentary, or because I have almost nothing but cheap cotton/polyester stuff. But it seems like shirts last 10+ years and shorts always last at least a few years, not great but nothing like some people claim. Does silk/wool/etc wear faster than target/Walmart bargain bin stuff? Are there some specific categories that are bad these days, in the way that people always say hand tools have gotten worse but people who mostly use power tools don't really notice anything, because brushless is so amazing?
