  That was in a time when people didn’t envision every person in the first world having access to their entire lives at their finger tips. I would tend to agree that today’s apps are… dogshit. Without a doubt, the vast majority of today workloads (99.9%) should be able to run on 2008ish era processing power if they were well programmed.
