I was in Basel last summer. The Rhine splits the city in two, and all along it's shore is a boulevard / terrace / stairs to the water, and it felt like the whole city was swimming in it along the entire length.
- omnimus 2y agoSome people even swim to get to work. With little waterproof floating bags for their clothes. Thats quite something.
- kombookcha 2y agoWhat a fun summertime commute! It never occurred to me to use it as transport instead of just working out :)
- bitschubser_ 2y agoits a nice lunch break activity in summer, from the Wettstein Bridge to the Drei Rosen Bridge ;) and back with the Traemli
